The three-day event is designed to give an insight into the characteristics and problems associated with a variety of the most commonly carried Bulk Oil and Petrochemical cargoes shipped around the world.

The course provides an overview of the practicalities of handling and shipping these materials.

The principal objective of the programme is to provide an appreciation of:-

  • Petroleum Products
  • Shortage Risks

  • Quality Disputes
  • The Importance of Samples and Joint Analysis Procedures
  • Mitigation Strategies
  • Insurance Claim Issues
Who Should Attend?

The course is designed to take some of the mystique out of the problems associated with the composition and transportation of Oil products, appealing to those involved in Broking and Underwriting, placing or claims; Risk Managers; P&I Club Claim Handlers and Members of the Legal Profession.
